Oh, I Still have a Blog! Who Knew?

Life these days are crazy. Time is just flying by. Our nights are filled with activities and events.  Our weekends are filled with errands, chores, running, swim lessons, Girl Scout events and fun.
Here are a few pictures from the last few days, weeks...I don't know!

Donuts for Dads was this morning at Lauren's school.

Addison was very upset she didn't get to go...so we had Donuts with Mom at Lamar's.

Seriously love this picture that I snapped on Lauren's phone (well I-pod touch.)

We have been very busy sorting through 331 boxes of Girl Scout cookies...and we are still selling more!

Probably one of my favorite pictures of us...last weekend at a wedding.

We Have Been Busy

Lauren had a birthday and party at the community center....

She had a blast swimming with her friends....

Addison hung out in the baby pool and didn't need any help from us...

 I attended Lauren's Valentine's Party...

It was a ton of fun...

We had watch week at dance...

Addison really loves it...

Although, I think Lauren loves it more....

Especially Jazz....

We celebrated Valentine's Day...

and my birthday...

We had a Girl Scout field trip to the police station.

And Mark hand delivered me roses at work.  I am such a lucky girl to be able to call him my husband.

We had another swim party this weekend....

and a skate party today!

Lauren has really become a great skater!

Snow Days...5 of Them This Week...

Basically the girls had Winter break #2.  Seriously.  They were out of school all week.

Tuesday morning was when the snow started.  I was watching the weather reports.  They were watching Frozen videos on You Tube.

We danced and did cartwheels....

Sang....(OMG how is she not freezing...I have no idea!)

We watched movies....

Had a picnic in the living room....

Made cookies....

Played in the snow...

Zoe did too...

Went sledding with the neighbors...

Drank hot chocolate...

Ate the cookie dough....

Were amazed by the amount of snow Wednesday morning...

Decorated the fireplace....sigh....

Dressed up like a princess....

Ate puppy chow....

Opened a few presents Thursday morning for Lauren's birthday....

Then Mark and my Dad painted Lauren's room Friday while she was at daycare (no school again.)  As you can see, she was thrilled!

A Few Pictures From Lauren's Birthday

I have a ton more on my big camera, but I am way too tired tonight to plug that in and upload them!

So, here we go.  The girls were out of school again and I was already planning to take the day off for Lauren's birthday.  We went and saw Frozen (again) this morning.  (Don't ask me why I took a picture in front of this movie....we did not see The Nut Job.) It was better the 2nd time around.  Great movie, wonderful songs, can't wait for it to come out on DVD and Blue Ray!

After the movies we stopped at Lowe's and get some paint to redo Lauren's room this weekend.  It will be pink with Zebra decorations.  (SHHH, don't tell her...Mark and Gramps are painting it Friday!)

Lunch was at Freddy's.  A new burger place in town.  Great burgers. Then we came home and rested a while (although not long) and headed out to play in the snow.  The girls begged for me to take them to the big hill to sled....so off we went.

It was so cold, but the girls didn't care.  It was maybe 12 degrees and we were there for an hour.  They had a blast.

Then we went home and waited for Mark to get home from work.  We had dinner at 54th Street Bar and Grill and then came home and opened presents.  The girls were exhausted and in bed by 7:30! It was a great day.  Happy Birthday Lauren! Many more pictures to come with our 3 snow days at home together and a big birthday party celebration this weekend!

Happy 8th Birthday Lauren

Wow!  8 years old already.  Lauren, you are developing into an amazing young lady.  You love school, enjoy reading and writing.  You started dance class this year and are doing great.  Girls Scouts is also keeping you busy and you love all the Girl Scout events you are a part of.  You had your First Reconciliation this fall and your First Communion will be in April.  You are an incredible sister and you truly adore Addison.

Here you are...just a few days after you were born!

Shortly after your 1st birthday.  We celebrated Easter in Omaha in 2007.

Summer of 2008.  You are 2 1/2 years old.  I love those curls.  Beautiful.

Your 3rd birthday was a warm sunny day around 65 degrees!

Summer of 2010 we went to Disney World!  You were 4 and loved it!

Your 5th birthday was a cold one again!

6 years old.  Easter 2012.

Almost 7 years old here!

And here you are today.  Christmas 2013.  Almost 8 years old and a beautiful young lady.  Happy 8th Birthday Lauren.  I hope it is a wonderful day.
