Halloween Fun

Mark and I were both able to take the day off to attend the girls parties!

I love seeing Addison and her friends!

Lauren and her friend Osa (and one of the few pictures of Lauren she let me take!)

There were several games set up in the gym.  This one was trying tying to get the spider to the web!

Then it was time for the parade of all the kids around the school!  This is Addison with the triplet cats!  Sage and Sierra.

Lauren would not look at the camera and smile...oh well.  I still love this picture!

Then it was time for Trunk or Treat at the school. We live so close to the school we just walked up there!

Lauren and her friend Lindsay.  I love this picture of Lauren.

These girls went to all of the cars probably 6 times.  They had tons of candy.

We also carved pumpkins after school that day.  Mark is now the official carver of our house.  The girls and I can clean out and prep the pumpkin.  Mark is super carver (I think you can probably tell which two he did!)

Sunday afternoon the neighborhood had a Halloween party.  We had food catered from a local Mexican restaurant.  It was so yummy.  There were games, candy and a parade

Then finally it was Halloween night!

We enjoyed some chili with the neighbors before heading out for the night to trick or treat.

We started out with this crew but ran into so many friends and neighbors throughout the night.  Legacy Wood is an amazing neighborhood to trick or treat in.  Houses are decorated to a tee.  We even have a haunted house in a garage that all the kids loved.

The girls ended up with way too much candy as always, but we had a fun night with all of our friends!

A Halloween Wrap Up

I can't even believe how fast this year is flying by.  It's November already.  I bought some Christmas presents online last night, but I am so not ready to think about Christmas.  Let's enjoy November, Thanksgiving, and turkey.

Here is a quick look at our Halloween activities.

We carved pumpkins last weekend when it was still warm outside.

Each year, the girls are able to do a little more pumpkin carving on their own.

Lauren is really getting the hang of it.

The finished product was great...and even better with candles inside!

Friday afternoon, I volunteered at each of their Halloween parties.  It was so great to meet some of their friends and spend the day with them.

In the afternoon, the whole school had a parade.  Mark left work early and was able to surprise the girls.  Here is Addison as Sleeping Beauty.

Lauren went as Snow White this year.

Friday night the neighborhood has a pizza party before heading out to trick or treat.  Have I mentioned how much we love our new neighborhood.  Pizza, grapes, drinks (for kids and parents) and a ton of fun.  There was a great turnout.

Most of the time the kids were running crazy around the neighborhood.  Addison snuck into this little car.  One of the neighbors bought it from Worlds of Fun. You know the taxi cab ride, right?  It was a hit!

Denise and I were so cold, but some adults beverages helped keep us warm throughout the night.

Addison and her best buddy, Jenna.

The one and only picture I got of both the girls.  They were in front of a spooky house and a little freaked out!

Lauren took off in a golf cart to go trick or treating.  A little spoiled???

Addison and her buddies had a blast!  WE trick or treated for over 2 hours!

We saw some pretty amazing houses in the neighborhood.

And we stayed up way to late eating candy Friday night...but it was fun!

Halloween Fun

A quick look at our night of fun.

Lauren was dressed as a mean spirit Halloween cheerleader.  Addison was a dancing ballerina butterfly fairy, turned into dancing fairy, and decided tonight that she had to have a princess crown.

Jessica found us a princess crown and saved the day.  Thanks Jess!

We had fun.  We always do with these friends.  Hope you had a Happy Halloween as well!
