I Phone Dump...What Have We Been Up To

Addison loving on Zoe.

We planted trees for the girls this fall.  I love them!

A selfie with Sophie!

I toured the JFK museum while I was in Dallas for a conference.  Very moving.

Do I need to say anything at all?

We are loving the Royals this Blue October.

We walked to school  one morning with the other kids at Highland Park.

I also went to St. Louis for a quick work trip.

I adore these 2.  Best buddies for sure.

We carved pumpkins with Girl Scouts

Gorgeous sunrise one morning.

Really...this is how she sleeps.

We are loving the Royals this fall. So much fun to watch our boys in blue.

We had watch week at dance where Addison was the official photographer with my phone.

See what I mean?

I treated the girls to Orange Leaf after 1st Quarter grade cards.

This one...oh my (sorry for the awful I phone quality picture)

Lauren and I stayed up late cheering on the Royals last Friday night for game 3.

Lauren went trick or treating with a friend at the Downtown Lee's Summit parade.

Addison stayed home and hung out with me.

We went to a wedding last Saturday night.

Lauren found her BFF Jackie at the dance studio...and Addison photo bombed yet another picture of Lauren.

And tonight, Mark is at Game 6 of the World Series and loving every minute of it.  I am so excited for him and can't wait until he gets home to tell me all about it!

Johnson's Farm Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend we hit the Pumpkin Patch.  It was just as gorgeous last weekend as it was this weekend!  We went to Johnson's Farms, which was new to us this year.  Again, the girls loved it and it a tradition that I hope to continue for several more years.

This pumpkin patch had a little bit of everything...animals, corn mazes, sand bus, pig races, pumpkin launching, playground, rock wall, hay ride...you name it... it was here!

Oh, and the big orange jump pillow as well!

The girls jumped on this for a long time....and they laughed and smiled the whole time.

They slowed down for about half a second to snap this picture!

These 2 love to climb the rock walls.

The concession stand was fabulous here as well!  Fresh corn on the cob off the grill for $1.  Plus, a huge bottle of butter to squirt all over it....and of course pumpkin donuts for all!

The actual pumpkin patch was a muddy mess, but that didn't stop the girls from finding the perfect pumpkin to take home!

Just the right size.

Lauren's 1st 5k

Lauren completed her 1st 5k this past weekend.  It was a race to benefit the Lee's Summit Schools Education Fund.  Her school had a fitness club the past 6 weeks to prepare the kids for the race.  It ended up being a run/walk for Lauren and I, but either way, we did it...together!

Addison totally photo bombed our picture.  She's lucky she's cute like that.

Addison's BFF Jenna was there cheering on her Dad who was running as well.  Mark and Addison and Denise and Jenna were along the course cheering us on.

Lauren was pretty darn excited when she crossed the finish line.
Here we are at the beginning just getting started.  It was a cold morning.

Then we saw Mark, Addison, Jenna and Denise again and Lauren started running fast.  I was running, although it looks like I am speed walking!

If you look real close, you can see the smile on her face crossing the finish line.

I love that Mark captured this moment between the two of us.

One of the biggest things Lauren was looking forward to was all the food at the end of the race.  Donuts, bagels, water, yogurt, bananas, and more.  It was all there for her since she ran the race!  We are very proud of her and cant' wait to do it again.  Way to go Lauren!
