Christmas at Gramp's and Nana's House

Is it too late to post about Christmas?  I think not!  Better late than never!

My Dad is forever trying to get all 4 girls to smile and look at the camera.  I think it gets easier and easier as they grow older!

Addison is always ready and smiling!

Claire and Addison are trouble.  Double trouble.  They always have a ton of fun together when they see each other.

Lauren and Sophie are buddies.

This guy was in the kitchen most of the night helping make the turkey!

I caught these two snacking before dinner.

Sophie waited very patiently to open her gifts this year.

Addison was very excited about her Monster High toys!

Lauren hung out close to me all night.  She still didn't feel good on Christmas day.  It was such a bummer.  My Dad always makes some thing out of wood for us for Christmas.  This bowl is beautiful.

Each year Mama gets a calendar of the great grand kids.

My mini me.  People say we look just alike, although I don't always see it.

See that smile on Lauren's face?  She opened Mama's gift of $50 and was hanging out with her Nana B.

Although it seems like Christmas was forever ago, it was a great holiday season.  Until next year!

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to the most incredible Father my kids could ever imagine!

It was Lauren's idea to make Mark a picture frame this year.

What makes Mark so amazing is how involved he is in the girls life.  This weekend he was in the pool throwing all the kids around.

Addison loved her frame also.  She almost gave away the surprise over the last few days.

Mark was such a trooper being the only adult in the pool for a while this weekend, making sure Addison was safe in the water.  After while, Addison was floating around all by herself and having the time of her life.

I surprised Mark with a Father's Day 40th Birthday surprise today as well.  A weekend in Chicago and a Cubs game!  He was shocked, surprised, and very excited.  I can't wait to go.

Happy Father's Day to the man I love to watch interact with our girls and work so hard at raising them well.

Happy Valentine's Day

from the Harding girls.
Lauren finally lost that top tooth that has been loose since BEFORE Christmas!

she was so excited, but a little disappointed because she really wanted to loose it at school so she could go to the nurses office to get a treasure box to put it in!  So, she took it to school today (in a baggie) so she could ask for a treasure box for it!
yes, there is only one tooth missing in that huge gap.  Hopefully that space will be of benefit to her when her adult teeth come in (straight???)

Addison was not really in the mood for pictures, but faked it and gave me her pose and a little smile!

Harding Christmas

We spent the past weekend up in Omaha celebrating Christmas with the Harding's.  Like always, the girls had a blast with their cousins.  Grandma wanted a picture with all her grand kids ....well here ya go!
We drove up Friday night after work, which is always exhausting, but worth it end the end when we get to spend all day Saturday in Omaha.
We started our morning watching Nathan test for his blue belt in Tae Kwan Do.  He passed!  Way to go Nathan.
Saturday afternoon Addison and I took a nap.  I felt awful with a head cold that both girls had earlier in the week.
After dinner we opened presents.  Eve loved her vacuum we got her, Addison is always full of smiles, Nate loved his DS game, Lauren loved her kitty, Emma loved her Build a Bear clothes, Kate loved her  Barbie dog, Rae Ann loved her Charming Charley GC, Mark loved his golf bag, and I loved on Addison.  Love her smile...

We got the kids to play outside for a while since it was not really that cold.  Nathan is blurry in the picture because he insisted on jumping off the deck while I snapped the picture.  Crazy kid.

Lauren and Kate played together a lot this time.  I love this picture.  They both look so sweet and innocent...don't let it fool you!

Lauren got some great gifts from Grandma Harding and her Aunts and Uncles.  Movies, Wii game, Novi Star doll, Fur Real Kitty, Amelia Bedelia books, Paradise Park Pass.
This sweet one is always up for a picture.  She was also very excited about her gifts.  Cinderella the movie, Cinderella dress up clothes, Lalaloopsy dolls, princess dolls, Lego Friends, and a Paradise Park pass.  It was a great Christmas in Omaha.
Uncle Pat made Santa milk shakes...yummy!
And Grandma got a great picture with all her grand kids.  Too bad my girls were all ready out of their Christmas dresses and into comfy clothes...oh well.  It was a great start to the Christmas celebrations over the next week.  Happy Holidays everyone!
