Monkeys, Fish, and Elephants

This past weekend we traveled to Omaha to visit Mark's family and to go to the Zoo. Lauren loved to see all the animals and the weather was just perfect. When we asked her what we were going to see at the Zoo she said "monkeys, fish, and elephants." We saw all three and many other animals. Grandma, Aunt Betsy, Nate and Kate also joined us for our trip.

At about 2:oo when we were making our second trip through the aquarium Lauren fell asleep. She slept for about 45 minutes like this and we enjoyed an ice cream cone. The first time we went through the aquarium Lauren loved to see all the fish. She was running and jumping and getting very excited to see the "fishy." Too bad she missed it the second time around!

We watched the monkey's for a long time. There were 4 monkeys at this display, including a baby monkey. They were very fun to watch and Lauren had so much to say as she watched them play.
