Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to an amazing Father to my children.  Mark amazes me every day as a Dad and the girls adore him.  He is patient, will always play Barbie's and Lego's, will take the time to explain everything to Lauren, and is Addison's little buddy these days.

However, this Father's Day we were not able to get our traditional Father's Day picture (2008.) since this one was like this half of the day....poor Addison.

She woke up in the middle of the night with a fever, had one again around 6 am, Noon, and again this evening (102.8)  In between fevers she perked up and had some energy and a little bit of an appetite....but about 5 hours after the last fever, she would climb on to the couch, complain of being cold, and one hour later her temperature is up again.

Hopefully tomorrow she will start feeling better and we can get our traditional Father's Day pictures by the tree.  Leaving those trees is going to be so hard for the both of us.  We planted those trees the same year each girl was born.  We have watched the trees grow as we watch our girls grow.  We know it is a little bit silly, they are only trees, but they mean a lot to us.  Here are some pictures from years past, 2009, 2010,  2011,2012, 2013 ( I don't know where the tree pictures are! )

I snapped a few casual pictures of Mark and the girls today...

These 2 are too crazy!

Like I said...Addison perked up for a few hours off and on today.  When the fever was gone, she was fine.  But, when her fever spiked, she was out...poor baby.

So, Mark did not exactly get the perfect Father's Day with sick kids, but he did get lots of family time and a great steak dinner.  Happy Father's Day to an amazing Father.  Love you!
