Do I really need to say anything at all??

Kaleidoscope and Crown Center
Saturday afternoon we headed down to Crown Center to meet up with Aiden and Amy and go to Kaleidoscope. We snuck into the free display to check out Snow White's house, the Three Little Pigs house, Cinderella's Carriage, and many other fun things. The girls loved it!
Both looking and smiling...never happens, but a great picture of Lauren!
Mopping at Snow White's house...Addison loves to clean house!
Look at the legs on that girl. They look so long in this picture. I know she is tall, but are her legs really that long???
After Crown Center we headed over to Kaleidoscope. Lauren and Aiden had a blast with all the arts and craft projects they could work on. Addison really had fun too. Mark kept her entertained and she really had fun coloring, all over her hands and paper!
These two ran and giggled for 3 hours straight. They would not cooperate and take a picture for me!
Enjoying lunch at the Crayola Cafe. It was very yummy. Addison was starting to get really tired before we left.
We made one last stop at the crayola store where Aiden and Lauren continued to run and laugh. Again, neither one would cooperate for a picture so this is what I got...the back of their heads. Oh well. It was a fun day with Aiden and Amy. Can't wait to do it again.

2 Stay Home Days...
in the middle of the week!!!
This was the closest thing to Addison being sick, and she was not even sleeping. She was just playing with her sister early Wednesday morning.
Lauren had fun with me at home and it being a "girl day" She said Zoe could play too since Zoe was a girl!
Addison was trying to keep up with her big sister who was running around the house with the shopping cart!
We played in every room in the house. Addison enjoyed playing with Play doh.
Lauren did too! Note to self: don't let dogs eat Play doh...It will lead to vomiting and dry heaving...
More playing...really sick huh???
We enjoyed going to Target...both days...because I forgot some stuff on Wednesday. Lauren went to school Thursday because it was donut day and computer class day and she could not miss those 2 things. Addison and I had fun hanging out together just the 2 of us, which rarely happens. That little girl is so much fun! We took Zoe to the vet, took a nap in the car, went back to Target, and hit Sonic for a vanilla Diet DP before picking up Lauren early from school. What a fun day!

Family Picture
In Lauren's Pre-K the teacher asked for a family picture for the bulletin board in the classroom. I looked through all my pictures and found out that we did not have a snap shot of a family picture since last Easter! I could not believe that. We have several pictures of me and the girls, and Mark and the girls...but not a single one of the four of us together since last April. (We did get some professional pictures of us taken over the summer in July with Mark's family but I did not have any extra of those to give to school.)
So we headed to my parent's house this weekend to celebrate February birthdays (Mine, Lauren, Mama, and Steve) and I had my Dad take this picture of us. Nice, simple and casual. I wish Lauren was sitting up more, rather than laying back on Mark, but she has a sweet smile and Addison was totally cheesy, so I am happy with it.
I am going to try and get more family pictures in the upcoming months. I love having them and they create so many wonderful memories.

Sharing suckers
Since Halloween Lauren has had a ton of candy. Suckers seem to be her favorite. She gets them from school, dance class, left over Halloween candy, and now Valentine's Day candy. She usually shares with her sister, but this week I decided to give Addison one of her own. (Remember she is not even 17 months old. I would have NEVER given Lauren a sucker at 17 months old.) Addison loved it!
This is her cheesy smile that Ms. Amanda from school taught her. Whenever Ms. Amanda takes pictures of Addison (which is several times a day!) this is the smile she gets!
She can even give you that huge smile with a sucker shoved in her mouth. When it came time to throw away the sucker you would have thought the world was coming to an end. Sticky hands, arms and face and throwing a temper tantrum. She got over it after a few minutes, and well enjoyed another sucker tonight.

Another haircut
Lauren did it today. Cut her own hair, for the first time! It happened at school. The teacher did not notice until she was sweeping up the floor and then noticed the hair on the floor. She asked Lauren if she cut her hair and she said "No." Then the teacher asked Lauren where she cut her hair, and Lauren pointed to the side of her head! Caught!! Well her hair has so many layers that you can't even tell that she cut it, thankfully.
When I asked her why she cut her hair she had 2 different stories. She said "Ms. Casey cuts my hair." Ms. Casey is the "haircut lady" that we take Lauren too, so Lauren figured since Ms. Casey cut her hair then she could too. Then she said, "I could not get the paper to cut so I cut my hair instead."
So after a little talk Lauren realized that it's no big deal to cut your hair, however Mommy and Daddy don't want her to cut her hair again...Silly Lauren.

Happy Valetine's Day....and Birthday
For those of you that don't know, my birthday falls on Valentine's Day. When Mark asked me what I wanted to do this year it was simple. I wanted to spend the day at home with my family. I did not want to go out to dinner just Mark and I. I wanted to be with the girls. We had a great day. Lauren was ready for a big party (since hers was last weekend) with all my friends, and was a little bummed when it was just Mark, Lauren, Addison and Zoe for the party. What party really? But it was my birthday, and so we had to have a party.
Love this girl! Look at those piggie tails. SO CUTE. This is how I fix her hair most days and everyone loves it.
My attempt to get a picture of my girls together. Very cute, except for the headband that Addison had to wear because her big sister was wearing a headband. She looks like she is ready to go out for a jog!
We made cupcakes for my birthday and I loved it. Lauren loves to help me in the kitchen, loves to measure things out, pour into the bowl, and stir. Addison enjoyed a snack while Lauren and I made cupcakes.
Our finished product. Lauren told me I had to take some to work to hand out to all friends for my party (at work I guess) since she took cupcakes to school for her birthday. Believe me, I will take some to work to hand out to my friends. I think we have 3 dozen cupcakes.
Addison enjoyed the cupcakes too!
My Valentine's Day card from Lauren. I went scrap booking all day Saturday, so when I was gone Lauren made this with Daddy. She is horrible at keeping secrets. When I got home she said "I painted with Daddy today Mommy. We made you a pretty picture with a heart, but it is a surprise."
Addison's Valentine's Day card for me. If you look real close you can see the scribbles!
I had to finish this post with another cute picture of Addison from our photo shoot today. Why bother taking them into a studio for pictures when I can get great pictures at home (if I try hard enough.)

The Sleeping Beauty Party
Since last summer Lauren has been asking for a Sleeping Beauty party for her 4th birthday party. She was Sleeping Beauty for Halloween, and so she had the perfect dress for her Sleeping Beauty party. We actually had Sleeping Beauty at the party. It was so much fun!
We started the morning out opening presents from Mommy, Daddy and Addison. Lauren was up at 6 and ready to go for her birthday celebration.
Grandma Harding got Lauren this doll and she loves it. It is from Target, Madame Alexander, just like the American Girl dolls but tons cheaper.
Lauren knew that Sleeping Beauty would be at her party after her nap so when she woke up she was expecting to see Sleeping Beauty right away. It was hard to explain to her that it would be almost 2 hours before Sleeping Beauty would arrive.
Her princess cakes. Every week when we go to the store we have to go look at the princess cake on display. I found the same cake at Walmart for almost half the price. Lauren loved it!
Sleeping Beauty told a story about Princess Lauren and then played three games with the kids. When the games were over all the kids got to pick three prizes out of the treasure chest. After that they enjoyed face painting and sparkly hairspray. Lauren loved her face painting.
All the kids at the party, minus 2 of the boys. They were too busy playing somewhere else!
Lauren just could not believe Sleeping Beauty was at her house! Disney World is going to be so much fun in May. I can't wait!
Gramps and Nana B got Lauren the Leap Frog Tag reading system. I think she is really going to like it.
Lauren and her boys. Landen and his Mom drove all the way from Chicago just to be at the party. Lauren loved having him there.
Time to say good bye to Landen. We probably won't see him again until the fall. Gramps and Addison
Little Addison just hung out with everyone. I think everyone held her at some point in the night. This is her friend Charley. They are in the infant room together at school, she is Killian's baby sister.
I think the Sleeping Beauty was a hit. All the little girls seemed to have a lot of fun. Happy 4th Birthday Lauren.
