Saturday night we went to our first Sporting KC game. It was so much fun. The stadium is beautiful, the atmosphere is exciting and the girls loved it! It was Commerce Bank night out there, which included a BBQ before the game and of course tickets to the game. We did some shopping at the outlet mall first, then headed over to the game.
Lauren really loved it. She sat there watching the game, asking Mark questions and was really into the action, cheering and all the excitement. Addison did really well too, moving from my lap, to Lauren's lap and then to Mark's lap too! She was such a good sport hanging out at the game.
Addison is not a fan of me taking pictures everywhere we go. She says "Mommy, why do you always have to take pictures?" One day, she will get used to it and smile for me. But, I think she is pretty cute here!
Of course we spoiled them rotten with cotton candy, kettle corn and lemonade. How can you say no? It was our first Sporting KC game. Besides, it kept Addison entertained for a long time. Her hands were so sticky from the cotton candy.
We are looking forward to another game soon. We left at half time and Lauren was so disappointed. She really wanted to stay for the whole game. Addison was getting pretty tired and was ready to go home, so we promised Lauren another game soon. Mark already bought a Sporting KC shirt on Sunday and is eager to wear it to the next game too!
