Lauren mention several months ago that she wanted to have a Justin Beiber swim party for her 6th birthday party celebration. We celebrated this past weekend at Legacy Park Community Center in Lee's Summit. Several of Lauren's classmates were there to join her in the fun, as well as Killian and Seth.
When the kids first arrived we enjoyed cupcakes and lemonade before swimming.

After cupcakes she opened presents. Lauren has been watching Star Wars with Mark for the last several weeks, so Killian got her a light saber. She was so excited. She also got some Justin Beiber notebooks, the Smurfs movie, 2 Barbie dolls, a zhu zhu pet, some Moon dough, T-Rex from Toy Story, a puppy dog, some arts and crafts stuff, a Hello Kitty diary complete with lock and key, and some chap stick. It was a good variety of presents and not too much!
After presents and cupcakes it was time to swim. The kids had a blast chasing each other around and swimming all over the pool. Lauren did a great job and did not need any help from Mark. Her swim lessons are really starting to pay off!
Addison spent most of her time playing here and with her cousin Claire. Mark hung out in the water with Addison, although she did not really need him. She loves the water! The only thing she really needed was for Mark to pull up her swim suit that kept falling down as she walked through the orange spray thing up above...we saw her little bottom several times :) I think I will put that swimsuit back in storage until she grows into it!
One last look at all of Lauren's friends at the party. Cameran, Harrison, Nolan, Killian, Moe, Claire, Lauren, Seth, Addison, Gabriella and Amelia. Lauren had a great 6th birthday party!
