A Weekend at Home

looks like this.  It was a perfect, relaxing weekend with nothing planned but a BBQ with friends at our house.

Saturday morning we hung out around the house.  The girls colored while I cleaned up the kitchen and put away laundry.  Later on in the afternoon Addison brought her stuffed animals out and put them on the stairs.  She was so proud of herself. 

Addison can climb up the stairs on the play set and go down the huge slide all by herself.  She loves it too!  She ended up with a few scrapes and cuts this weekend, the girl has no fear.

The kids hanging out in our "secret room."  Lauren, Addison, Charlie, and Killian.  Killian and Charlie's family have been to our house several times, but they had no idea our basement was finished and  filled with toys.  This is Mark's Husker room, and we also have a new desk down here for our computer and scrap booking stuff.  I love Zoe sitting in the background posing for the picture as well!

So a simple weekend at home is just what we needed.  We have something going on every Saturday from here until Halloween and a few Saturday's in November and December already have things on the calendar.  Crazy, huh?  But I love fall and can't wait for it to be cool and we can head to the pumpkin patch!
